Hi,

A couple of issues -- If you are checked in completely through to the international flight and all you are doing is changing terminals and gates, two hours should be adequate. However, if you have to claim luggage, and then check-in for the international flight, and then go through security again -- probably not especially at that time of day. We have always had pretty good luck with FCO, normal crowded delays but nothing excessive. Then two weeks we were on a flight from Athens to Rome and checked a bag because we were carrying several bottles of wine. It took over an hour to get the bag. There were several announcements about operational problems. We were headed into Rome so it wasn't a big problem but if you were changing plane it would be.
Also we have had some experience with a very strict cut off of check-in 45 minutes prior to departure. So if you are not checked in for your international that could add to the potential problems.
Thanks..I better re-plan.
