My wife and I are planning a trip to Prague and Budapest this fall, and are looking at a jawbone flight into PRG and out of BUD. Both coming and going from the US we would layover for ~90 minutes in Amsterdam. Is this cutting it too close to connect?
You can make a 90 minute connection at AMS, assuming 1) a "normal" number of passengers at the airport, 2) your first flight arrives on time, and 3) you don't need to retrieve your luggage. Outbound, if the Netherlands is the first Schengen/E.U. country you enter, then you will most likely need to clear passport control and security in Amsterdam. While waiting in line for this, you can see a screen listing flights that will depart soon - if this applies to you, you can shift to a special line with no waiting.
