I will be traveling with 6 others next April and we will need to catch a plane that will probably depart Fiumicino around 11:30 AM. Current train looks possible. Does anyone have any experience with private transport? If so how expensive and what is the traffic situation, that is is it necessary to go through Rome to the airport.

It does look possible to depart by train, Monday-Friday at 6:15, have only 10 minutes to connect at Roma Tiburtina station, and arrive at the airport at 9:30, but there's no room for error, and the first departure is later on weekends. Maybe someone else will have experience with private transport.
