Does anyone know what type of storage is available at the Pisa train station? We would like to see the leaning Tower on our way to Florence without carrying our bag. Thanks!

Storage is at Pisa Centrale. The baggage room is at the far end of the station, so allow enough time between trains to drop off and pick up your bag. There is often (always?) only one attendant. If he's on a break, or if there is someone ahead of you, it can take a while. There is a bus across the street from the station that goes to the campus, but it may be hard to find. It's a short taxi ride. Returning, it's easy to spot the bus station (and the line of people waiting). If you want to climb the tower, you may have to reserve in advance. The church is lovely and the baptistry is well worth seeing too.
