Passport Control

We are US citizens, flying from Dulles airport to Charles deGaulle airport, where we have a connecting flight to Marseille. Will we go through passport control and/or customs at CDG or at the Marseille airport?

Immigration passport control will be at CDG, customs will be at Marseille but it will be a walk-through.
