Is it possible to get from Valencia to Cuenca then on to Madrid by train? We will be traveling from Madrid to Lisbon on the night train but will be arriving into Madrid from Cuenca early in the day. Does the Atoche train station in Madrid have luggage storage where we can store our luggage for a few hours?

One train a day from Valencia to Cuenca, which leaves around 8 am and arrives in Cuenca around 1130...just a brief stop, so don't delay! From Cuenca to Madrid, there are about half a dozen trains a day during the week, around 4 on saturdays and three on Sundays. There are left luggage facilities at Atocha, in the main concourse where the lovely tropical garden is located.
