Dublin to Shannon

I would appreciate knowing alternate ways to get from Dublin to Shannon airport. I am supposed to meet a tour group at Shannon airport, and would prefer not to fly from Dublin to Shannon if at all possible, so is there a train, is there a bus? Thank you very much.
