Rome to Siena, train or bus.

We will be traveling from Rome to Siena. Should we take a bus or train? Can we reserve bus tickets ahead?
We are staying at a B and B outside of Siena and plan to tour Siena when we arrive. Is there a place to stow luggage at bus or train station while we tour?

Train or bus both work. By train you need to change in Chiusi. By bus you take Sena bus from Rome Tiburtina station. http://www3.unisi.it/eventi/raggiungeresiena/
Click on the Roma Siena autobus link in the website above. There is no Deposito Bagagli (baggage deposit) at Siena station. If you stay at a B&B out of town it's a good idea to rent a car. Or at least inquire with the place what the bus service would be. If it's not served by Urban (city bus) service, but only by ExtraUrban service, buses will be very infrequent.
