Are Private Drivers available in Germany and Italy? My husband and I are in our late 70's and would rather not drive in Europe anymore. Thank you.

Drivers are certainly available in both locales. But with $9 per gallon fuel and the high costs of European automobiles, private drivers come at a very high price. Limo and taxi companies often provide these services, and they're easily found online. Have you considered going on an organized tour? Rick Steves has some great trips. Sometimes that's the most reasonably priced way to travel.
My parents traveled the world into their 80's with a travel club of 20 close friends. Their trips would not have been possible with independent travel.
