I am looking for cheap flights within Italy. Best fare are booked through Skycanner. If this a safe site?
It's just a site that crunches the different potential itineraries and gives you recommendations based on price and other variables, like Kayak. You actually book through an airline site so there is no issue with safety.
As Agnes says, skyscanner.com is a search engine that will show you flights on both budget airlines and national carriers. Where do you wish to fly within Italy? You may find it just as fast (or faster) to take the train.
hi, yes. i use it alot. happy trails.
Yes. As said above, trains are often cheaper and often faster, all things considered, unless you are going a significantly long distance like Torino - Bari.
You can also try a competitor, www.whichbudget.com, although a recent make-over of that site made it actually clunkier to use than before.
Tricia, Also feel free to check out www.kayak.com and www.jetradar.com - both sites DON'T sell tickets, but rather can point you at an agency or directly at an airline, which would sell you the ticket. And yes, don't ignore trains :)
Alternatives for within Europe are Momondo and www.swdoodoo.com.
