10 Euro Plane Ticket Party Pooper

French Transport Minister Clément Beaune wants

“ the establishment of a minimum air ticket price ” in Europe in order to “ fight against social and environmental dumping ”, he explains in an interview with L’Obs on Wednesday . This " proposal " will be submitted to his counterparts in the European Union " in the days to come ", he announced. “ Plane tickets at 10 euros, at a time of ecological transition, this is no longer possible! This does not reflect the price for the planet .”

These call prices do not cover the real cost per passenger of air travel, which emits much more greenhouse gases than the train.

“ I fully accept the taxation of polluting activities to invest in this ecological transition ,” he explains, while the government already plans to increase the so-called “ solidarity ” tax applying to all flights departing from France. in order to finance investments in rail.

Good News: Apparently you can use your cell phone on flights in the EU and the UK now.

Excuse me, French Transport Minister Clément Beaune, your socialism card is about to fall out of your pocket.

the establishment of a minimum air ticket price

Take that you capitalistic pigs!

Plane tickets at 10 euros, at a time of ecological transition, this is no longer possible!

Plane tickets at 10 euros is possible if they are for sale at 10 euros.

Are there really flights for 10 euro?

Not sure that qualifies as 'good' news.

Are there really flights for 10 euro?

Nice, France to Bucharest, Romania in January: 9.95 euro on Wizz. It's all that comes up originating in France on Wizz for less than 10 euro. No one is cheaper, so I suspect that eliminating that twice a week flight for a few weeks in January will change the direction of global warming.

But its the bourgeois class we are really after (which would be RS people).

‘Anything that makes airlines pay a fair share of the environmental cost that they create is a good thing,’ said Worth to Euronews. ‘But we should be dealing with frequent flyers and this does not deal with them. It might reduce nice city weekends for some people but it's not going to stop or reduce this regular flying elite.’

The latest news out of France: 41% of French population is in favour of a proposal to limit everyone to 4 flights in their entire life. At least they are willing to do more than complain.

Not surprising. A poll in 2018 asked French people, "Have you traveled outside of France in the last three years?" 45% said, no. An alarming 6% said they didn't know!!!

Even scarier, is that they probably have the right to vote.

When they find out how many Airbus jobs vanish they will be in the streets rioting about unemployment
