Hello,
Hoping to do the Alpine My Way in 2026. Notice there are 2 different start days. Monday and Wednesday. I also notice the Monday start days seem to be filling up faster than the Wednesday. Any reason for this? Is there some thing to consider when choosing? Thanks.

The Monday dates might be filling faster because some of those folks might still be working. They can leave Friday night or Saturday and get to the destination a day or 2 before the tour starts. IF it's a Wednesday start then they might have to take more time off?? JUST a guess! For this tour I would not think start day would matter to the tour if you don't have to consider what day of the week you leave home.
I do look at the start day if it's near a major holiday - Easter, May 1, etc.

Pam is right in her warning to avoid those holidays. May 1, and the weekend after, is a very busy holiday, and to be avoid, if possible. And the weeks after before and after Easter also draw heavy crowds.

I've had the pleasure of doing the RS Alpine tour 2x (2024, 2025). I really like the Chamonix Saturday market so I have looked at whether or not we'll be there on a Saturday. Just a personal preference.

I’m taking this tour next year and opted for a Monday start date. As mentioned above, this is so I can use less vacation days from work.

@Carrie - thanks for confirming my guess! Did not start my RS tour "career" hahahah, until after I retired so it's never been something I needed to look at.
