My sister and I are arriving at CDG withing 45 minutes of each other but on different airlines(United and Delta) which come into different terminals. We would like to set a meeting place to drive into the city together. Are there separate immigration/customs points for the different terminals or will we end up at the same place? Is there a way to get between terminals after customs if they are different?
Which terminals, that might help us pinpoint a easy to get to meeting point for the two of you.
United come into terminal 1 and Delta comes into either 2 E, F, or G.
Are you driving into the city or riding on public transport
Go to this website https://easycdg.com/passenger-information/arrivals-cdg-airport/ and scroll down to Meeting Points. It seems like the person who arrives first should make their way over to the terminal where the later sister is arriving and wait by baggage claim or the exit door point described by above link. There is a free shuttle CDGVAL that takes you from one terminal to another as pictured here https://www.parisaeroport.fr/docs/default-source/passager-fichiers/plans/plan_masse_cdg.jpeg?sfvrsn=58d8fbbd_6.
This would work well if you are taking a taxi together into Paris.
There is a Sheraton Hotel in terminal 2 that is a good meeting point as there is a shuttle from terminal 1 to there and the RER B and taxi stands are very near. FYI Going through customs, there were signs that said they wanted to see your boarding pass. I panicked as I had used mine to put used gum in :) They didn't seem to be checking for them though, sigh of relief.
