Does anyone have an idea how RS prices these trips? If you look at the pricing for Ireland I can’t make heads or tails of why the price is, for example, lower in July than, say, May.

Some dates may have higher prices because of increased hotel prices due to specific events or seasonal happenings. When setting prices for tours they have to take that into account. Also, weather and crowds may make certain seasons more or less popular so they take that into account also.
