Looking at itineraries it seems that as a generalization on a 2-nite stop there will be a group dinner the first nite, the second day there is a walk with a local guide in the morning and the rest of the day is yours. I'm wondering what the experience is the free afternoon. Do people on the tour tend to meet up for dinner or do they go their own way? And later in the evening would you say people come back after dinner and call it a nite or might they arrange to meet up with other people on the tour to get a drink or something? Or for that matter after dinner is done on the group dinner nites, same question. At the age range of the RS demographic I assume they aren't hitting the clubs or other nightlife.
I know there is nothing that applies across the board to every tour or every traveler, but I'm wondering what the experience of people has been on the free afternoons/evenings of the tour.
