Waitlisted on a RS tour..........how to find out what number you are on the list?

Does anyone know the answer to this question? I have emailed and asked and have not received a reply. I'd like to know because if I am very far down on the list, I'd like to make other plans.
Thanks.

You will need to call the RS Tour office directly. It has been our experience that the tour page isn't updated very regularly. We were actually booked (or so we thought) in May and a week after we booked the tour we thought that it was safe to book the airfare. Nope. We got an email the next day that our tour was full. We replied to the email to ask where we were in line, but didn't get a response so we just called and they told us we were behind 6 other people.

April is right; call the office. A couple of years ago we signed up for a tour, requesting two seats on the tour, and the RS office actually called us within minutes, to say that there had been only one empty slot. They gave us the choice of signing one of us up, and waitlisting the other; or putting both of us on the wait list, thus opening up the one slot for someone else. We chose to both go on the waiting list, but we kept in touch with the office. They are always very friendly and helpful. As it turns out, we finally just signed up for another tour, since we were getting twitchy about plane reservations. But call the office; they will help.

Hi Lisa, this is Julia in the Tour Department. Since we are a very small staff, it does sometimes take us a few days to reply to emails. If you need immediate assistance with anything, please always feel free to give us a call. I believe I replied to your email this morning to let you know that you are first on the waiting list.

The availability of our tours is updated live, so if a tour is full, it will say "Join Waitlist" beside the date; There is no delay between signing up and the availability displayed on the website. Tours that say "Filling Fast" beside them have only a few seats, or sometimes only one seat open.

When you sign up for a tour that is "Filling Fast", the email receipt that you receive upon completion of your tour request states that the tour "has less than five seats available" and to "not book your air travel until we have confirmed your tour".

Thank you for posting, and again, feel free to call us if you have any other questions.
