We are signed up for Italy My Way this coming May. At the end of the trip we’d like to travel down to Petina for a couple of days because my husband’s grandparents and other ancestors were born there. Has anyone ever been there? If so, could you share any info? Petina’s a small town, so we’re not sure it even has a hotel to stay in! Thanks.
Casa Sarlo right in town looks nice. Lots of other options close by a few nice looking agriturismo nearby.

Thank you for your reply. Pertosa and Petina are two different places, about 2 1/2 hours drive from each other. But I do appreciate your trying to help.
Brad actually sent you two links - the first one is for a place that is in Petina, which does look lovely. It’s great that you’re making an ancestral visit.
Inbsig, thank you! I see that now. On my computer the two were run together as one link. So thank you for letting me know!
Brad, thank you!! I so appreciate your taking the time and the link is great!
You’re welcome! Now that I look more closely, Brad’s post has three links - one for Petina and two for Pertosa. Anyway, the way I got at the issue was to look up Petina on my online map (iPad), which shows hotels, restaurants, etc., anywhere in the world, and you can click on them and be directed to reviews, websites, etc. Do you have something like that available to you? Mighty handy for planning.
