I love Italy but have visited the major cities and am looking for a tour that showcases the quieter more intimate cities. I am also a major wine/foodie person so tours that spend a lot of time visiting wineries and eateries are appealing to me.
I am consider both the Village Italy and Best of Tuscany tours and wanted to hear from people who may have taken both tours. I have a couple of questions:
If you have, which one did you enjoy most and why?
What time of the year did you visit?
I usually travel in Italy from mid-April to mid-May.
