I noticed the Village Italy tour now goes to Montefalco rather than Montone. Does anyone know why the change? Did Giancarlo the Magnificent get tired of the groups? I really enjoyed Montone and especially the view from my room.

Not sure about the change. We traveled in the Village Italy tour last fall and stayed in Montone. My guess would be to prevent Montone from becoming another Vernazza----too many tourists craving the small town "back door" experience. We also stopped in the Cinque Terre - never again because it was mobbed with tourists!! We had visited many years ago when it was not a cruise ship stop and truly enjoyed the beauty of the small villages and the slow pace.

I noticed the change when the tours were published this year as well.
I wonder about Rocco the truffle dog! I loved him!
