Wondering if anyone who will be in Venice on Thursday 11/2 is interested in Alessandro Schmizzi 's Bar Tour at 6 PM. My friend & I have signed up, but as of 10/10, he needed 5 more to run the tour. Details for the tour are in Rick's book. The tour is in the neighborhood of our pensione and looks like a good opportunity for a nice walk with some food & wine. I did this last April when I was in Venice by myself for a few days, and it was great fun.
He contacted me the day before the tour (I had emailed him at least a month before) to let me know there were enough people to make it a go. So don't despair if you don't hear from him right away -- I think a lot of people sign up at the last minute.
