My partner and I from Minnesota will be on this tour for these dates and are wondering who else will be part of this group. We are flying into Venice a day early and staying in Rome for a day after the tour ends.
We will be taking the train back to Venice as we purchased a RT ticket in and out of Venice. Is it a good idea to buy a train ticket ahead of time or can we purchase one the day we leave Rome?

The train ticket on that route is cheaper earlier bought but plenty of trains to choose from
