Trains and gondolas for one day in the Alps on the Germany Austria Switzerland tour

We'll be on the above tour late this August and plan to use our free day in Murren to use the mountain transportation , ie trains, cog railway and gondolas to do the hike from Mannlichen (accessed by gondola from Wengen) to Kleine Scheidegg, then , after the hike, take the train back from KS to Wengen. We know how to do it, having spent time in Wengen before, but always with a Swiss Pass or Berner Oberland pass. Unfortunately the shortest time for one is 4 days. So we will just pay as we go.
I can't find any web site to tell me the prices for all those piece of the transportation puzzle. Has anyone on any of the Switzerland tours this summer had any experience with this? We don't plan to do the Schilthorn or Jungfraujoch, having done them some years ago. I wish there were a one day pass!!!!! I guess we will find out when we get there.

Thanks for any info

If you're also getting one of Rick's books that covers the region, B. O. lift prices are shown on a one-page schematic drawing. Expect to spend about $55 per person for the two routes you mentioned.

A couple of years ago, on My Way Europe, the hotel in Lauterbrunnen sold all the tickets. It was very convenient, but I don't know how much your plan would cost. It was the end of May but the lifts weren't running because of the snow! I"ll do it next time.
