Since it's Sunday and I can't call the office, could someone confirm for me that if I put a $400 tour deposit down for a tour within 60 days, do I have the option of 3 days to get that deposit refunded?
Thanks
Since it's Sunday and I can't call the office, could someone confirm for me that if I put a $400 tour deposit down for a tour within 60 days, do I have the option of 3 days to get that deposit refunded?

According to their 2023 tour rules:
“ Cancellations, refunds, and credits: Tour deposits are refundable up to 120 days prior to the tour's departure date. Deposits made 91–150 days before a tour departs become non-refundable after 30 days. Deposits made 68-90 days before a tour departs become non-refundable on the final payment due date. If you book a tour less than 67 days before its departure date, the entire tour cost becomes non-refundable after 7 days, but may be creditable in the case of a Creditable Event, as outlined below. Once your deposit refund date has passed, your deposit will not be refunded under any circumstance.”
If you sign up for a tour less than 60 days before its departure, the entire tour price must be paid, and is non-refundable after 7 days.

If the tour you plan to take is less than 60 days away, you do not make a $400 deposit; you pay the full amount.
EDIT- From RS website:
Deposit Policy
To confirm a spot on tour, we require an initial deposit of $400 per traveler, per tour.
Final Payment Policy
For tours departing within 60 days, final payment is due within 3 days of your deposit date.
Cancellation Policy
Your deposit is fully refundable up to 120 days before the tour departure date. Deposits made 91-150 days before a tour departs become non-refundable after 30 days. If the tour departs in 68-90 days, your deposit is non-refundable on the final payment due date, and if it leaves in less than 67 days, you have 7 days to cancel.
It is a bit murky depending on just what the specifics of your situation is.
When I go to reserve, it only requires $400 deposit today. I just would like to know if I can have a day or two to think about it (like earlier poster) and have the option of getting the $400 back. I'd call but it's Sunday.
I would wait until tomorrow and call. None of us are qualified to speak on behalf of the RS office.
