The description of the day where we travel from Rome on our way to Cinque Terra describes stopping for lunch in hillside town. What town is this?

Typically the tour will stop that day at Massa Marittima to break up the drive from Rome to the Cinque Terre, though sometimes guides will take the group through Orvieto instead. Feel free to contact our tour department at (425) 771-8303 ext. 217 with questions about our tour itineraries.

As per Casey's post, our BOE stopped in Orvieto for enough time to see the cathedral, a bit of the town and grab some lunch before we headed out again.

As per Casey's reply our group stopped at Massa Marittima for lunch. It was a lovely hill town. Everyone was free to have lunch on their own. We ate at a lovely restaurant called the Il Gatto & La Volpe. Enjoy your tour.
