South England Rick Steve's Tour

I believe tours vary sometimes where they stay, but I was on this tour in May, and we stayed in Mawgan Porth at the Bedruthan Hotel.

I'm on this tour in September and we stay at the St. Michael's Resort in Falmouth.

I did this tour and it was great. Finding a good hotel for Cornwall has been a challenge. I believe they have now found a satisfactory choice.

I took this tour in 2022 and really enjoyed it. We stayed at Housel Bay Hotel on Lizard Point in Cornwall. The view from the hotel was incredible. I’m not sure if it’s a hotel that is frequently used.

I was on this tour October 2023 and we stayed at the Bedruthan Hotel. It has a indoor pool and there was 2 pay washers and dryers with laundry powder available at the reception desk.

We also were on this tour in 2022 and thought the Housel Bay Hotel was great. I still remember having a pint in the late afternoon and sitting on the lawn looking out at the ocean view! Following the forum discussions when the tour is mentioned it seems that they keep changing the Cornwall hotels. I don't know if they're not satisfied with the locations, if they have trouble reaching an arrangement, or something else.

The trip report link is from my trip report. Roy our guide implied, or maybe said, that St Michael's Resort is only being use this season. The tour's preferred hotel is going through remodeling. From everyone's posts it sounds like the Cornwall hotels are constantly changing.
