Nice scrapbook! Thanks for noticing it was posted. I enjoyed the pictures and was happy Aperol Spritz's featured prominently, hahaha!

Pam, you got my attention with “Aperol Spritz.”
But…we too were on the Southern Italy tour…limoncello country…and so we drank limoncello spritz rather than Aperol.

Yes, I had a lemoncello spritz, but Aperol are my favorited! When in Rome....or Southern Italy. Glad you are all enjoying it so far!

Oh, Steph! Glad you are watching! It was fun to look at your pictures. I had to laugh because I just ended Best of Italy in Rome and we took a number of the same shots! Especially in the Capitoline Museum!

Carol....I switched to Limoncello Spritz in Monterosso al Mare, hahaha! But I still like Aperol better!

I was so excited to see a scrapbook posted. I was even happier after I read it; it was a wonder insight into the Southern Italy tour along with photos that brought back memories from our 2019 tour. The writing was excellent and informative. I so appreciate the time that goes into these.

Steph, Thanks for posting your scrapbook. It was wonderful to "relive" the same tour we took the beginning of September (sadly, no poppies). You did a great job with your description and information of of places visited...in fact, I didn't know some of the facts you posted. I must have been daydreaming part of the time.
...but I think you must not have had a good limoncello spritz...or you would have been hooked!

Thanks for the heads up, Estimated Prophet. Stephanie, thank you for the time and care you took to be the first published post pandemic tour scrapbook! Well done.

Steph - I especially enjoyed your trip report because we stayed at the Hotel San Francesco in 2005. Plus, our April 2022 trip was based in Pompei and Salerno, so there was some sightseeing overlap.

And, I just booked the flights and hotels for our September 2023 to Scotland and England!

Great scrap book, Stephanie !!

I did RS Villages Italy in 2011. And then I traveled throughout Italy for a month (with friends) in Sept 2018.

I thought I was done with Italy, for now. And then I saw that pasta and that decadent looking dessert you posted on your Sorrento page !! I think I need another Italian Adventure.

If you are thinking of Scotland next, I can vouch for RS Best of Scotland (2014). Another winner !!

I see Stephanie's is still the only one posted... looking like a winner!

The deadline is February 28th, so still plenty of time for other entries. I have thought about this in the past, but the winners in the last few years were always graphic design professionals. It made me feel, "why bother?"

I don't know if the RS corporation cares about that - I guess if they did, the contest would be limited to amateurs.

I’m happy to have stumbled upon this nice scrapbook, as I’m taking the South Italy tour in mid-April. It’s great to have a visual preview and some travel tips. Thanks for creating and sharing.

Nice job Stephanie! This was our first RS tour and you brought back some wonderful memories. The Best of South Italy is a great itinerary and will always be a favorite of yours! Good luck with your entry!

I just went through the 21 Day Europe scrapbook by Shannon & Joy Everhart, simply delightful! Not too much verbiage but word choices that reflect the tone of the tour and the writer’s personality. The pictures convey what it’s like being on this tour, very nicely done!

Judy B, I thought that one was pretty good, too.

Family Europe- London to Florence has been just posted, I haven’t gone through it yet.

I liked the Ireland in 14 Days scrapbook, she added songs from YouTube and stories to give texture to her report.

I really liked the candor of the "Family Europe" scrapbook. She told a good story, but didn't hold back about the London hotel, and the few other things that her group didn't love.

I have really enjoyed all of the scrapbook entries, and I very much appreciate their contributions.

Really strange but I can’t open the Family tour. It gives me an error saying it can’t connect with the server. I tried on both my iPad and phone, both last night and this morning. The other tour scrapbooks are no problem.
