[Solo Female Traveler Seeking Carpool to Hotel for Aug 5 Venice, Florence, & Rome Tour]

Hello Fellow Travelers,

I am a longstanding fan of the Rick Steves travel shows and taking on my first trip overseas for the tour to Venice, Florence, and Rome Aug 5th to 14th.

I am very excited to meet other kindred like minded travelers and a longstanding dream to see Italy's history, art, and sculptures. I am arriving in Venice Marco Polo Airport at 9:10 AM on FlightAA0714 (from Philadelphia) and would be delighted to share a car/boat transfer to the first hotel for camaraderie and to save a little on the transfer

Reply back if interested or if you simply want to share any travel tips or happen to be on the long 8 hour airplane ride from Philadelphia to Venice :)

Sarra, it's very easy and inexpensive to take the bus to Venice and the vaporetto to your hotel.
Your RS travel info email will give you exact details.
(I had dreamed of Venice since I was 8 years old. At the age of 52, when I was there for the first time, I burst into tears of joy and disbelief.)
