Skorts for travels

Ladies – I ‘love’ longer, below the knee, elastic waist skorts – they look like skirts but are pants – these garments are especially good for traveling – bare legged in warm weather, tights under them for cold weather - dress up or down

I’ve tried places where I have gotten them before to no avail -

Does anyone have a link to such skorts?

Thank you kindly

Have you tried looking for culottes vs skorts? Most of the skorts I've seen are shorter and above the knee. Culottes are longer, usually just below the knee to mid-calf.

Also check makers of sports specific clothing. Runners and cyclists can often be seen in skorts. Nike, Columbia, Patagonia, Lands End, Athlete all popped up in a quick search.

Many swimsuit companies are now making longer skorts if you are traveling to the coast. Also, if you look for the term "modest clothing," there is quite a bit out there with this idea.

I came here to suggest the 'modest clothing' option. Those are longer skirts/tights combos. There is a conservative Hebrew neighborhood near me, I and I see a lot of women wearing these longer skorts to run in, so they must be pretty comfortable and easy to wear.

I love skorts and live in them all summer. Most of mine come from Athleta. They are all above the knee, though. If you find one you like on Athleta, they often have a 'tall' size option.

Brilliant idea to look under different name than skort as suggested - that has helped a lot: gaucho pants, wide legged pants, culottes, yoga pants – only going to use a place other than Amazon if they take PayPal though…

Have a wonderful time Diane!

These pants that look like skirts are so lovely and practical. I have to shop online - we live in a tiny mountain village.

3 ½ weeks until we leave for our trip to Germany and Austria! Got our Bivalent Vaccine Friday – perfect timing!

I love skorts and travel with at least 2 each trip. Recently I love the athletica brand….

Right!

Gauchos / culottes – whatever they are called, are so comfortable, particle and stylish. Planning on bringing two pair rlm97405 and may wear one on the plane – haven’t decided yet what I will wear – need to check the weather as it’s closer – we just very suddenly started having much cooler weather up in our mountains.

I like wearing tights for the cooler / colder months with skirts – skirt styles, or as a layer under pants when needed. But as I am carrying everything – checking nothing – I may do with even less…
