Should I stay an extra night in Porto after the Portugal tour

For anyone that has taken the RS Portugal tour, should I stay an extra night in Porto after the end of the tour? Anything you didn’t have time for in the two nights you were there?

Porto is an amazing city - you will certainly find interesting things to do there!

Porto is a bit gritty. Fun, but we found 2 nights enough. We did back to back tours so flew directly to London. But if we had the time we would have gone back to Lisbon. We had 2 extra days there in the beginning but wished for more.

I haven’t taken this tour but two nights is not enough time to see Porto and it’s environs. Stay at least two more nights.

I would definitely add another night. Porto is interesting and pretty, but also not rushing off from the final city of a tour is much preferable to me. On the last group dinner night you are usually up late, might have a glass or 3 of wine, so sleeping in the next day and then wandering the streets or seeing what sights you missed feels wonderful.

I agree that Porto warrants a couple extra days if you have the time. We wished we would have had a couple more days. Instead we flew to Spain and spent 4 nights in Madrid and Barcelona. We had 5 nights in Lisbon and felt that was enough time to see some areas on our own. It’s a wonderful tour!

Great, I'll add an extra night. Thanks LuvtoTravel for reminding me about the 3 glasses of wine at our farewell dinner!

Porto has a terrific modern art museum, the Serralves Foundation, within a lovely park, the family's original estate. You can even tour their (pink!) Art Deco mansion.
