I like to travel as early or late in shoulder season as possible. I’m wondering if anyone has any thoughts as to which of these tours would be better in fall or early spring? Or perhaps it won’t make any difference. I’m trying to make a choice for fall of ‘24 before the extra $100 offer ends or tours get booked. Thanks for any input.

I can’t offer a comparison. Yet. I took the Loire to the South of France tour in October 2014 and it was great. I don’t handle heat well so I prefer fall tours. We are signed up for the Eastern France tour in October 2024. Maybe we’ll see you.

Thanks Kim, I’ll probably have to flip a coin. I’m guessing either one would be great in October. I do hear great things from reading trip reports on both tours. I’ve take very early in spring tours that have been great too. So many trips and not enough time……
