RS Portugal Alums - Would you stay at your Lisbon Hotel again?

I am having trouble finding a well located reasonably priced single room (en suite) using the RS Portugal Guidebook. I generally like the RS hotels I have stayed at on previous tours, but I have never been to Lisbon. I am looking at an early December week-long stay in Lisbon. Any recommendations - generally euro 90 to 100 or less per night would be in my sweet spot. I can't find an upscale hostel with en suite single rooms. I am generally too old to be sharing a bathroom, especially for my middle of the night semi-catatonic jaunts.

Absolutely! We stayed at Hotel Lisboa 2 years ago and were very pleased with our room, cleanliness, staff, location and excellent breakfast. We would stay there again. We enjoyed restaurant "a Gina." It was a 2 min. walk from the hotel.

HI Michael. A few years back I stayed Resdencial Florescente. It meets your price point. I would not call it upscale but it met all of our needs and was in a great location, right off of Restauradores Plaza and also near metro station. I remember that our price had breakfast included.

Hi Michael, We stayed in Porto at House Ribiera Porto one block above the river front. It's rated 8.9 on Booking.com. Great location, redecorated rooms and good breakfast (at an extra charge). The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with ideas of places to visit, special events and how to get there. I believe it would fit into your budget. We easily walked from there across the bridge to Villa de Gaia to visit the Port houses and took a HoHo bus to sightsee thru' the city which is very hilly. Taxis are reasonable and we took them to and from the train station. We really enjoyed the riverfront vibe of the city and hope to return again. Have a great visit to Portugal.

Yes the Lisboa Plaza was a good hotel. Our rooms were small but adequate. The breakfast was very good. They cater to tour groups. We met many Brits and Germans. The A Gina restaurant nearby is very good, we dined there twice.

You could have a look at THIS hotel in Lisbon. I believe this is the hotel I stayed at, but they've changed the name and appear to have renovated since my last stay. It's in a great location and I quite enjoyed my stay there.

I agree with other posts that Hotel Lisboa Plaza was well located and comfortable. Stayed there in May at the start of our RS tour.
