Question to members who have taken the Best of Scandinavia in 14 day tour. Which Books to bring?

I believe there is just one main Scandinavia guidebook. I am pretty sure that the snapshot books are portions of the larger book. I bought the kindle version and viewed the book on my kindle app on my smartphone. Åsa was my guide. Several times she referred to this main book, mostly the maps. I took laminated maps of Stockholm and Copenhagen and used them. I didn't really find it necessary to have the book on hand. I had written museum hours, restaurants etc info in my journal before leaving home.

Vandrabrud is right about the book choices - snapshots are simply chapters drawn from the one big Scandinavia book. I would take the big book but cut out the chapters that you don't need. A new edition of this book is due in 2018, but I don't know in which month that will hit shelves. Hopefully before summer, since summer is the most popular time to visit Scandinavia.

Thanks for the update. I received my store credit this week but will hold off until later to see if the updated book comes out before we leave. Traveling with a group of 6 and we will are on the July 1st tour so I do have plenty of time.
