Hi, i would like to download rick's audio tours for our trip in may. i just bought a windows 8 smart phone (not an android and not an iphone). can anyone tell me if I can download the audio tours onto my phone? thanks, Linda
I don't know anything about Windows phones but wanted to say the audio tours are wonderful. We really enjoyed them especially the tour of Venices grand canal.
The first thing to do is download the audio tours you want on your computer. They will be in mp3 format. Then connect your phone to your computer and download them onto the phone. For that you will need to read your phone's manual. The RS website has pretty good instructions.
In case you just need this to get you on your way...

If your phone is smart, then it's a computer and not just an "MP3 player." So I think you can just click through the links above and download tours directly to your phone. Or, if you have an iTunes App set up on your phone, you can download Rick Steves content through iTunes. (But what you don't have available is a stand-alone Rick Steves app.)
