We will be taking the RS Best of South Italy tour starting on May 2. This will be our second visit to Italy but our first RS tour. We are so looking forward to returning to Italy and appreciate all the planning that will have been done for us. We are looking into options for the free time we will have on this tour and the Path of the Gods is of interest to us. We will be in Positano and were wondering if we will have the time to do this hike. Also, although it looks like a great adventure, it seems quite rigorous. Is it possible to do just a portion of the trail and still get the beautiful views, but require less time and stamina?

I'm jealous! I was on this tour last September and I chickened out of the Path of the Gods. I found a guide based in Positano that does the hike, but I've lost the information. You can find her name, probably by searching Path of the Gods tour.
People on our tour took a boat to Amalfi, bus to Ravallo, and walked down from there. It was a beautiful hike, too.

Thanks so much for the information! Could the guide you mentioned be Lucy? It sounds like she does a good job with her tours. This will be our first RS tour and are very excited! Hiking in this area looks like it would be a wonderful adventure.

Yes! Lucy is the guide. I didn't do her tour but all the reviews I read about her were very positive.
