I am looking for a hotel near Luxembourg Gardens and would appreciate any recommendations.

I recently stayed at the Hôtel Left Bank Saint Germain des Prés, located on 9 Rue de l'Ancienne Comédie, which is very near to Luxembourg Gardens. I booked a triple room in St. Germain with two grandchildren (11 and 15) and we enjoyed our stay there very much. The location was fantastic; close to the Luxembourg Gardens, Notre Dame, Pont Neuf, and countless cafes, boulangeries, patisseries, and much more. It was perfect for walking and the Odion metro stop was a block away.

The large room was great for us because of the layout. It had two single beds near each other (or you can have one double) and the other single was separated by a partial wall and curtain so it gave my grandson some privacy. I believe the cost was around €300 per night. The hotel had A/C and a small lift. And the breakfast was very substantial and very good. My 15 year old grandson, who loves food and eats like a horse, really enjoyed it.

I/we have stayed at Bonsoir Madame 3 times in the past 2 years. A great location and terrific staff. We will stay there again on our next visit to Paris.

Can you give your budget in Euros and your dates to narrow down the possibilities? Are you looking for a room for 2 adults?

We stayed at Hotel Le Relais Medici for 5 nights in May 2023. We would stay there again. Great Left Bank location (6th Arr), just north of Jardin Luxembourg, excellent and helpful concierge, nice breakfast, lovely courtyard. Easy walk to Metro and restaurants. The hotel has only 17 rooms, giving it a more intimate feeling. Great description in the RS Guidebook (“ideal if you always wanted to live in a Monet painting”). The rooms are a bit small, though not unusually so for Europe. Looks like it's down the street from the hotel that Alan recommended.

We stayed two times at Hôtel Sainte-Beuve which is very close to the beautiful Luxembourg Garden. It’s a small hotel with beautiful furnishings.
