Our waitlist came through!

I am so excited to be spending my 60th birthday on the Basque Tour next May! We got the email today, filed out the forms, and included our deposit. Now to patiently wait for the email that we are definitely on that tour! I was worried it wouldn’t be until the first of the year before we heard anything so someone must have dropped the tour from their plans. What a great day!

It’s a delightful tour and inspired me to return to the area many times. In addition to all the wonderful pintxos available in San Sebastián, be sure to save room for cheesecake at La Vina. Tell Miguel I said hello.

That’s wonderful and reassuring to hear, kathy! Hopefully you’ll get that definite confirmation very soon. Happy Birthday, in advance. You’ll be Basqueing in the sun in less than a year!

one of the best tours, IMO. And the sea food in that area is fantastic.

This is what I’m afraid of, lol! I know to most it would be heaven but for me and my EpiPen, it is not. On any previous RS tour our guide was very good about making sure I stayed away from shellfish and I learned the word for shellfish in most of the languages of the countries that we visited. I know I will be safe but I really don’t want to have to use that EpiPen because then it is recommended to be near a hospital. Ain’t nobody got time for that!
