Calling all knitters - - I will be taking the RS Scandinavian 14 day tour starting Aug 25. I'm looking for yarn shops/places to take a 1 or 2 day knitting class in Bergen or Oslo. Any ideas of where to look. Any recommendations appreciated.

I travel frequently with a knitter, so visits to yarn shops are mandatory sights in every city:)
There are lots of travel blogs specific to yarn stores. So doing a google search with "yarn shops in Bergen Norway blog" will get you lots of detailed descriptions of what's available.
In addition there is an international database at knitmap.com. But some of the stores listed at this site may have gone out of business so the blogs are usually more up to date.
As for knitting classes you will probably have to reach out the stores individually by email to see if/when they are available.
Finally outside of Bergen there is a Knitting museum in a neighboring town. More details here:
