We will be in Naples and hoping to explore on our without using a shore excursion. My husband would like to see the underground tunnels (Galleria Boronica??) Is this doable on our own from the port

It appears you can simply sign up for a tour conducted by the folks at the site. They offer the tour in English, apparently several times a day, but at the moment only on Friday and Sunday. Perhaps there will be more-frequent tours in April, May, etc.
I haven't been to the Galleria Borbonica myself; I'm just aware of it because I've been gathering information for a trip to Naples.

I did go on the website and saw where to order tickets, I guess I was wondering if it was too far to walk from the ship
