Does the My Way Italy tour stop at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels (and Porziuncolo Chapel) in lower Assisi before heading to the upper town?

It did in 2013. Hopefully some more recent traveler can chime in, or you can call the RS Tour office. Wonderful place, Assisi!

Hi, Eric. That stop is not promised but the Tour Manager can choose to add it. Let them know that you're interested. But if the group doesn't do it together, it's also pretty easy by local bus (from the same area where your tour bus will park on arrival) or taxi (about 15 euros each way).
