My Way Alps hotel question

My wife and I are both teachers, and would love to go on the My Way Alps tour. We can only go in the middle of the Summer. We are a little concerned that the hotels without A/C will simply be too hot to sleep in, and thus making the days way less fun. We are not hotel snobs..... just wondering if someone who has done this in the Summer can answer whether the hotels get cool enough at night with windows open to be able to sleep. Do they provide fans?

Thanks in advance.

You can do your own Alpine tour with your own hotels. It's really not that difficult...I just looked at the itinerary. But yes, in Bavaria and alpine villages AC is very uncommon. Don't you get a Fall break or a Winter break? Fall is beautiful and cool. Winter can be a wonderland of snow fun. My wife is a teacher too and takes students at the end of every school year...leaving in late May or early June and staying for 17 days (not including flying days). Occasionally we've been met with some sweltering weather specifically in Munich and Geneva in the past couple of years.

I can’t tell where you are from, so don’t know when your summer break begins, but we went in June last year, and no AC was no problem. I honestly don’t remember which hotels had AC and which didn’t, but there were no uncomfortable nights, and I would have noticed. Maybe someone who was there in July or August will respond. It’s a great tour, our favorite so far, of three.

Always have been to Switzerland in the summer. Never needed A/C in Murren or Wengen in the evening. Super heat waves in the Alps is rarely a problem in the evening. Can't speak to Lauterbrunnen Valley or Interlaken.
