My Way Alps

For those of you that have stayed in Bolzano, how did you get to Ortisei? We would like to get to the Seceda in the early am. I read some posts that the tour bus driver took them. Any information will be helpful in planning.

Our escort talked will us individually daily to help us decide what activities would best suit us. He had all the bus numbers and safety info. He prepared us well before we set out on out own.

You'll probably have others in the group that have the same plan in mind.

Have fun! It's a wonderful tou!

you should not need to buy individual bus tickets or Mobilcards if you stay in most hotel/guesthouse/hostel/campsite in Bozen or elsewhere in South Tirol because most will give you a Guest Pass when you check in (or sooner!). https://www.suedtirol.info/en/en/information/suedtirol-guest-pass

that said, if you mean you want to be there in time for sunrise you may find that public transport doesn't start early enough. The first (and not on Sundays or holidays) leaves at 06:28 and arrives at 07:25 which sounds too late to me.

Hello, we caught a ride to Ortiesi on the Rick Steves Bus, dropped everyone off and picked us up at the bus station in Ortiesi. From there we took a long walk to the main gondola.
