I’ve been on a few Rick Steve’s tours now and love them, but am thinking about the my way alpine one next year. Just wondering for those who have tried both, what their thoughts were. Pro’s and con’s? Prefer one over the other? As well if anyone who did the my way alpine, did you enjoy the places visited.

We did the My Way Alpine tour nine years ago and absolutely loved it. The scenery was amazing, and we hiked at every location. It is a very different feel than tours that focus on major cities and museums. We have also done tours in Central Europe, and the Rome City tour. Those were very nice and informative. The My Way Tour removes the stress of having to plan transportation and lodging in the Alps, which can be more removed from major train routes, and allows you to enjoy the stunning scenery.

On the Alpine My Way trip, did anyone have any issues with the hotels lacking AC? I realize this is weather dependent , but at my age sleeping hot can be a bit of a problem. Thanks!!

I don't know about air conditioning; we went mid-late September so A/C was not required.
