My tour Account won't allow me to make final payment

I've emailed RS Tour staff, but wonder has anyone else encountered difficulty when making final payment for your tour?

I never get an option to pay. I click on "pay" and it reloads the same page.

And even though I've received confirmation and reminder emails, our tour account says:

"We're still processing your tour reservation.

Note: It may take up to 3 business days for your final balance to be available for payment online" (we booked in December).

Hopefully I get an email back from RS staff soon, but wondered if it's just me. I'm glad I tried to pay a bit before the deadline or I'd be panicked. Well I still am a little panicked, but less so, lol.

I’d call the office and leave a detailed message. I’m sure they will call you back as soon as possible.
I’ve never had that problem but you know how some computer glitches go.

I would try a different browser. It seems like some websites just don't get along with some browsers. Or maybe their booking engine needs a reset.

I had tried different browsers, no luck there. We also had a glitch when we booked. We were using a tour credit, and somehow between redemption of the credit and the confirmation of booking, we got 'stuck'. Ages passed and we had no tour confirmation. Apparently there was a human error between the people who look after credits and the people who book tours. Seems likely to me this has something to do with that.

I'll call today.

I don't - unsurprisingly -have an answer but just wanted to say that I'm sorry you're going through all this rigamarole. All just to do the right thing. I'm sure it is unintentional.

Andrea, that sounds exactly like what happened the last time I tried to book a flight with Delta using credits. The page kept reloading and would never let me pay. I finally got some help through their chat box and was told that there was some kind of error with the actual credit (some kind of processing thing where it was not recognized as valid) and that's why it was not going through. It's very frustrating dealing with that and I understand your pain. Good luck getting it fixed!

Mardee, what is your emoji? I haven't seen it before - it looks like chopsticks poking into a baguette. Clearly it isn't but that's all the detail I can make out....

Nigel, ha ha!!! It's a canoe, since a lot of people up here go kayaking and canoeing. I realized that you can add emojis to your location and your name here - just go to your account and edit the forum settings. Kind of fun - one other poster here has the Scottish flag next to her location, which is kind of cool. :)

I submitted my final payment about a week ago and had no problems. I hope your issue gets resolved soon. I would be nervous about missing the deadline!

I got an email reply that there was a glitch that needed to be fixed. I'm now all paid up!
