Where does that tour go? The threat is on the Italian side, near Val Ferrat I believe. It is a local issue in terms of immediate impact, but a global issue in terms of what it indicates with respect to global warming.

It's on the Italian side, and the linked story specifically states that residential areas and tourist facilities are not threatened - the areas that people have been asked to leave are mountaineers' huts at altitude.
