Medieval Guédelon and Bourges

This site is on our April Paris & HOF tour. I was just wondering if anyone knows how completed it is?

I went on this fabulous tour in 2014 and the construction was under way and I would say it was 1/3 finished. Maybe someone else who’s been on this tour later than 2014 can give an opinion. I would guess that no work has been done during the pandemic.
You will enjoy it!

Nigel, thank you for the link! It's been on my wish list for years but after watching the cute video it's time to actually put it on my itinerary for 2023.

I have wanted to see it so much, that it is a major reason why I choose this particular RS tour. Well, that and the Mont…….
Thank you for your replies!

My husband and I took the Paris & HOF tour in 2018, and I'd guess that 3/4 of the exterior was complete at the time. We loved this tour and Guedelon was definitely a highlight - exceeded our expectations! Have a wonderful trip!

Tammy, we took this tour in 2019, and the structure was mostly complete. The local guide said they hoped to be done within another year or so.

Guédelon was the main reason we took this tour, as well. I thought we didn't spend nearly enough time there. We did a guided tour with the local guide, but didn't have enough free time to wander around and check out the artisans' workshops.

But that's so often the case; I think every single RS tour we've ever taken, our reaction was: "Not long enough!"

Hi
We're on the April 12 tour. Guedelon is supposed to be completed by next year.
