What is the cheapest method to mail extra luggage back from Italy?
Hi Brett. It can get pretty expensive to mail luggage back to the U.S. so we don't recommend packing so much that you would need to do that, but if you do buy some items in Europe you'd like to ship back, DHL is probably the best company to do that through. If it's something you don't need for three months, you can always ship by sea which is cheaper, but again it would take a long time to get to you. DHL or UPS both ship international though.

Some travelers reporting here in the past have had a bad experience trying to save money sending packages by the Italian postal service.
