Looking forward to the results of the Scrapbook Contest!

I was amazed at the talent shown in the over 100 entries to the scrapbook contest. I love being able to go through these and see what people experienced on different tours. The amount of time and energy that all the participants put in is amazing.

The website says the results will by posted by April 7th. We should be hearing soon. Good luck and thanks to all of you.

I agree with you, Carol! I am enjoying the scrapbooks so much, especially the destinations where I will be this year. Besides all of the beautiful photos, I appreciated being able to see what types of clothing people were wearing in the coastal regions, etc.

I will be reviewing them again this Fall when considering a new destination to add to my 2024 plans back in Italy. Possibly Greece?

Scrapbooks? Where is this found on the site? Would love to see entries and winners, which every one is sure to be!

I’m going to check tonight before I go to bed to see if they post the winners tonight, after all tomorrow is April 7! I have a number of favorites but I won’t spill the beans. I love to travel vicariously through others’ eyes.

I only looked at 5 of them-what a lot of wonderful works. The time spent is something I just can’t imagine doing. Lots of talent.

I entered and received the results just a few minutes ago. The winners were certainly worthy of their awards. Everyone who entered did a great job. For those who are looking to do a RS tour, these are a great way to get a taste of what that tour would be like. Or if you are a DIY-- you can get some ideas of where to go, but hint hint-- It won't be the same as being on a RS tour!

I also entered. It was my first tour and my first time making a scrapbook. I am very glad I did it, though it was time intensive. I am enjoying looking at all the entries—it must have been hard to pick the winners!

I am truly impressed by the amount of effort and talent that went into producing each one of these amazing scrapbooks. Even the ones detailing the same tours with different dates came from such different perspectives. I am so happy we are all traveling again and posting such wonderful works of art. Thanks everyone!

My scrapbook was #79, Loire to the South of France. It was a bit of a learning curve to learn the program, but once I got going I felt like I could have spent many more hours on it. Enjoy!

I did one, too, Portugal, #11. It was the first time I'd ever done a website-based scrapbook. I entered in 2010, and was surprised and honored to be named the 4th place winner, but back then, you could enter a Mixbook. The contest doesn't support that format any more, which is why my 2010 book can't be seen in the scrapbook archives. I agree with Meg's comment: this was time-intensive! However, making my scrapbook was a fun winter project and a great way to re-live the memories of the tour. I shared a link with my tour mates on our private facebook group and received many thanks that they now have a way to re-live the memories of our tour as well. So my reward wasn't a prize but was the ability to give a gift to my wonderful travel companions. The winning books were wonderful . . . congratulations to all five winners!

I am 1/2 way through looking at the winners' scrapbooks. The one for a week in Paris is so wonderful I think I will be returning to it again, but all of the winners are to be congratulated on their hard work and sharing their tours with us.
