London 7 day tour - my tour info is out yay!!

It is getting closer and real now. After a year of waiting, got my tour roster, guide, info, etc. Two of my friends took the London 7 day tour last year and had Jeanie Carmichael. We got her too! Woot Hoot! 25 tourmates. Nice size. Now have to wait another week for my Paris & HOF tour info.
Serious packing thoughts need to start. Switching to the convertible backpack and smaller backpack this year. Going to try my best to pack lighter this year. But it can be done!.

Knee report for all who know I had replacement last august - doing pretty well. Our weather has been so weird this year, so it was hard to get out and be active. Went for a 4 mile walk last week and held up. I ride my recumbent bike about twice a day (morning before work and when I get home). Working a lot of extra hours for trip money. I am up and down at work (retail) and have done well at work. Pain is sometimes 0 to 2, depending on weather and my daily activity. I think all will be well on the two tours. Not looking forward to the plane trip part tho.! Did do a work rode trip end of February with car travel from Tulsa to Nashville and did pretty well in the car. We had our first grandchild in February, so he has taken up a lot of my free time (which has been wonderful)!

That is exciting! I enjoyed your trip reports on Scotland last year, so I look forward to reading about this trip when you return. In fact, it helped convince us to try our first RS tour! We take the Greece tour in October.
Congratulations on your grandchild!
Have a wonderful trip!

The London tour was my very first tour in 2005 and one of the best groups I ever had on a RS tour and I have taken 16 tours! You will love the London tour. They have changed it over the years since I took it but it is still London and all the sites have not changed. That tour helped me go to London on my own the last two years!!! I can't wait to go back to London. Hopefully in the next year or two I will spend another week there. So much to see, I already have my list!

My tour infor came out for the Eastern France tour today too and we are so excited about it!!!!!! Going to the gym later to gear up for the trip.

Have a great time!!!

The London tour was our first RS adventure in 2016 and Jeanie was our tour guide. She was fabulous! We loved this tour, each day was well planned. Our tour had a great group of people, we learned so much and had lots of fun. We leave in about 6 weeks for the RS Best of Ireland, can’t wait. Have a wonderful time in London!!!

Kim - my Best of London tour is the week before yours I think. We have Jeanie also and 24 in the group so should be great. Glad to hear your knee is better. I broke my foot two weeks ago so I will probably still be clomping around in my boot. May have to skip a few walking parts but hoping not to. Enjoy your tours. Paris & HOF was our first RS tour, it was wonderful.

Mary - poo. I have never been on a tour from people I met on the forum. Looking forward to our two tours. It will be our 6th and 7th tours. We gave 25 tour mates and one couple is from Alabama.

Our Paris and hof tour ... there is three couples of going together from our Tulsa travel group. One I met on this forum to start our RS monthly Tulsa group and the other is a friend/ co- worker (retired now) of my husband. We get that list on the 21st.

Hope you do well with your foot in your trip!
