Loire to the South of France late June - AC situtation

Does anyone know if the hotels on this tour have AC late June?

Your best bet is to contact the hotels on the tour. They should be in your portal by now. Or soon. The same tours don't necessarily stay in the same hotels.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. This is for next year. We haven't yet made the call. This year, we'll be in South of Italy tour in September.

My tour was 2019 so hotels and amenities may have changed, but the only hotel we stayed at with AC was the one in Nice.

Just got back from this tour, which started in late April. There were a few hotels without A/C - either they didn't have it or hadn't turned it on yet for the season. At one of the hotels, there was a nice stand fan (with a quiet mode!) that worked well. In the other's, an open window worked for us. The guide warned the group of at least one place without A/C but said fans were available from the front desk.

We did this tour in May 2024. Lots of stays are in small towns and hotels were adequate to good, they were very “back door” family owned places typical of RS preferences. They were clean and friendly. In late May we were hot and stuffy at night and most rooms had very poor ac as you get further South especially. I have read several posters say at some places you can ask for fans in your room but it is first come basis. I also saw a poster who bought a very small bedside fan for air circulation that was manageable to put in backpack on moving days that they then abandoned it at end of trip. The tour stars in Chartres and there are some chain stores similar to a Target that were close to our hotel that might sell small fans.
