Hi All,
Will be stopping at La Havre on June 5th, 2019 via the Crown Princess. A group of 6-10 wishing to hire an English speaking private tour driver/guide with car who will pick up at dock, tour the beaches, stop at the American Cemetery, etc... and return us later that day to the ship. Any recommendations? It is so close to the anniversary of D-Day that many of the companies who advertise on Viator/Trip Advisor are already booked. Our Dad was a pilot during the War so this stop was one that made the cruise popular with us. Does anyone have any recommendations please? Thanks!

Try looking at toursbylocals.com. In the top right side click on shore excursion link. We used them off a cruise in Edinburgh and Dublin. Using them in April for cruise to Cuba. We were very happy.

Have tried “tours by locals” and they were very nice but all booked .... 75th anniversary and all. Argh! My bad for not being on top of things... anyone have a cousin in LaHarve who has a van? 😬
